AAS25 Continuing Education Credit Information



What types of continuing education credits are available for AAS25?

This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886455354-8186) for 31.5 continuing education contact hours.

The American Association of Suicidology has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5607. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The American Association of Suicidology is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

The American Association of Suicidology (AAS) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. AAS maintains responsibility for the program and its content.

Up to how many continuing education credits can I earn at AAS25?
Conference participants may earn up to 31.5 continuing education credits.

How do I claim continuing education credits?

When registering for the conference, ensure you have selected what type of continuing education credits you are requesting. You will scan in and out of each session using your name badge.


Are there any additional fees for obtaining credits?

Continuing education credits offered are included in your registration fee.


What is the process for receiving my certificate?

AAS will email a certificate of attendance within 45 days of the conference ending to the email provided during registration.


Do I need to attend the entire program to receive credits?

With the exception of Training and Certification Day’s workshops, all CEs are awarded on a workshop basis. You must be in attendance at a workshop to be awarded credit hours in your certificate.


Can I use these credits for license renewal?

Yes, these credits can be applied toward license renewal for professionals in psychology, social work, and counseling. Check your state’s requirements for specifics, as some states may not accept National CE Approval Programs.
