Leadership and collaboration are keys to success when implementing suicide prevention strategies. Following the May, 2024 release of the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention and the Federal Action Plan, the National Council for Suicide Prevention (NCSP) plans to use their expertise, national and local reach to help lead support for a Private Sector Plan. The NCSP also will pursue advocacy efforts with federal, state and other stakeholders to maintain suicide prevention as a priority. Additional high priority - high impact activities will also be presented in this workshop.
