Aims: The aim of this training is to enhance adult wellness in workplace settings by equipping participants with practical strategies derived from the Sources of Strength framework. The focus is on promoting resilience and reducing burnout among staff.
Methods: The training incorporates interactive workshops, role-playing scenarios, and group discussions. Participants will engage in activities that foster connection, identify personal strengths, and develop coping strategies. Feedback will be collected through pre-and post-training surveys to measure changes in knowledge and attitudes toward wellness practices.
Results: Initial findings indicate that participants report increased awareness of wellness strategies and a greater sense of community among colleagues. Participants will also be encouraged to implement at least one new wellness practice in their workplace following the training.
Conclusions: This training demonstrates the importance of investing in staff wellness as a protective factor against burnout and as a means to enhance overall workplace morale. By utilizing the Sources of Strength model, organizations can empower their workforce, ultimately leading to improved outcomes in mental health and suicide prevention.
