Joyce Chu, Ph.D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in suicidology, diversity, culture, and community mental health. She is a Director at Community Connections Psychological Associates and a Professor of Psychology at Palo Alto University. Her work is focused around advancing suicide prevention for ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ populations. She has published numerous works including the Cultural Theory and Model of Suicide and a measure of cultural influences on suicide risk.
