Michael T. Moore is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Adelphi University, where he is the Principal Investigator of the Study of Affect and Depression (SAD) Lab. His research interests include how people attribute causes to events in their lives and how this may place them at risk for problems with depression or anxiety. He is also interested in how accurately or objectively people are able to view these events and how all of these areas of interest impact the psychotherapy process, particularly for the cognitive-behavioral therapies.
