Michael Sandella is a Clinical Research Coordinator at the David Farber ASPIRE Center at Thomas Jefferson University, where he conducts research on and contributes to the implementation of suicide prevention efforts in both healthcare and non-healthcare settings. He is also directing the creation of the Suicide Prevention for Educators Course, a collaboration with Prevent Suicide PA that fulfills the suicide prevention training requirement for all Pennsylvania educators. He received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University in May 2023. Michael hopes to attend graduate school to earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology while further investigating the role of (and behavioral interventions targeting) goal-related cognitions and behavior in depressed and suicidal adolescents and young adults.
