Dr. Van Fossen is an Assistant Professor in the David Farber ASPIRE Center in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University. She is currently the PI on a SAMHSA grant - Cooperative Agreements for Innovative Community Crisis Response Partnerships focused on enhancing mobile crisis response and law enforcement partnerships, and exploring opportunities for Alternative Diversion in Monroe County, PA. She is additionally the Project Evaluator on a GLS 5 SAMHSA grant focused on youth suicide prevention in Pennsylvania. Dr. Van Fossen did her post-doctoral fellowship in the Center for Family Intervention Science at Drexel University and her master's and doctoral degrees are from the Ohio State University.
