Katherine Harvey, MPH is the inaugural Rural Strategies Specialist at the Office of Suicide Prevention within the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. She supports rural, frontier, and agricultural communities in adapting and implementing comprehensive strategies to prevent suicide. Katherine is a former 4-H Extension Agent and previously founded and ran a mental health promotion program for rural youth in Gilpin County, Colorado, where she still lives.
