With over 35 years of experience in crisis and suicide prevention work, Dr. Draper is considered an international expert in behavioral health crisis services (hotline, online chat, text services, etc). Dr. Draper is the founding and former Director of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now 988) for 18 years. He is currently Behavioral Health Link's President of Research and Development, where he is working to improve the quality of crisis care systems in communities across the country.
