Justina is a first-year doctoral student in Florida State University's Combined Counseling and School Psychology, Ph.D. program. She earned her M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2024, and her B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland with a minor in Special Education in 2022. She is originally from Jackson, N.J. where she visits her family during the holidays. She is interested in prevention and intervention research for those currently experiencing childhood trauma, especially among children in the foster care system. Justina currently works as a Teaching Assistant for SDS 4481, Communication and Human Relations, an undergraduate course offered at Florida State University. She also maintains a part-time job at IMPACT Tallahassee where she is a substitute teacher and after-school counselor for children with special needs.
