Alexandra Negrin-Perea is a doctoral student in the Combined Counseling and School Psychology program at Florida State University and a Graduate Research Assistant at FSU's Brain Science and Symptom Management Center. Alex is originally from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and a U.S. Army veteran. She received her M.S. in Health Psychology from Saint Leo University and her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Diversity/Women's and Gender Studies from the University of South Florida. Alex's research interests include adaptation, resiliency, and suicide prevention in children, adults, and military service members.
