Junggeun Ahn is dedicated to advancing educational programs using virtual reality and digital healthcare technologies. He is currently developing an immersive virtual reality-based psychiatric emergency simulation training specifically designed for non-psychiatric nurses. Additionally, he is expanding the application of digital healthcare in mental health self-management by implementing immersive virtual reality relaxation programs for diverse populations. His research focuses on mental health issues among young adults, with a particular focus on undergraduate students, single-person households, and sexual minorities. Notably, he has analyzed suicide causes and help-seeking behaviors among young adults and explored the unique health challenges and emotional struggles faced by LGBT individuals due to social discrimination. Junggeun Ahn is a PhD candidate in Nursing and has completed doctoral coursework at the College of Nursing, Seoul National University.
