Dr. Richelle Clifton, PhD, is a currently a postdoctoral clinician researcher at the University of Washington School of Medicine, in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Clifton completed her PhD in clinical psychology in 2023 at Purdue University, Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI). Through her research, she seeks to better understand and describe sociocultural risk and protective factors for high-risk health behaviors and conditions among youth of color, including substance use and suicidal thoughts and behaviors, in order to adapt and tailor health interventions.
