Waheeda Saif is the Senior Disaster and Recovery Strategist at Riverside Trauma Center and an adjunct professor at Boston College. A licensed mental health clinician with over two decades of experience, Waheeda began her career as a Guardian ad Litem in the Florida court system; working with children and adult survivors of survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She currently leads Massachusett's mass casualty Patient Reunification Team.
On a national level, she consults with institutions on critical incidents and assists in developing crisis protocols for post-incident recovery. Waheeda conducts trainings on various issues, including crisis response, trauma, and suicide prevention. She specializes in suicide postvention, trauma and traumatic loss.
In 2020, she launched her passion project, the Muslim Women's Gicing Circle, a philantrophic initiatve aimed at uniting Muslim women to fund women-centered non-profits.
